Sharing a Document

Everything about handing a document to someone else lives behind the share button in the document header.

The share menu

Click the share button (the small nodes icon) in the document header. The menu holds:

The two nudges

Stet asks about sharing twice, early, and then stops.

After you create your first real workspace, an inline card above the file tree offers to add someone to it. Enter an email and invite, or skip. Skipping is permanent, and the sample project doesn't trigger it.

After you accept your first real AI change, a card offers a share link, on the theory that the interesting thing to show someone is a document you actually reviewed. Dismissing it puts a one-time dot on the share button so you can find the menu later. Opening the menu clears the dot.

Neither nudge fires in the sample project, and neither comes back once dismissed.

Founding member deal

While the launch offer is open, the share menu tracks two ways to earn it: share with 5 people, or give 2 pieces of feedback, within 60 days of creating your account. Either one locks in 50% off for a year. Two progress bars and a countdown show where you are.

Some of it counts automatically. Copying a review link records a share. Submitting feedback through the in-app feedback widget records feedback.

For feedback you gave somewhere else, use Log feedback I gave elsewhere. Pick the channel (email, Discord, Twitter, other), write one line about what you said, and submit. It counts once confirmed, usually within a day.

The founder deal section disappears from the menu after day 60, or as soon as you've earned it. The share button and everything else in the menu stay.
